These terms cover Dugout team management at dugouthq.app. By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use it.

What this is

Dugout is a planning and tracking aid for amateur baseball coaches: roster, lineup, field assignments, printouts, and informal live notes. It is not an official scorebook, not a league system, and not a substitute for your organization’s rules.

Consent

You confirm you are using the app for a legitimate coaching purpose, you have authority to enter the names you type, and you will not use it to harass, dox, or commercially exploit players. For youth teams, you are responsible for parent and league expectations around names on a card and on printed sheets.

Your data

You own the roster, lineups, and stats you enter. In this version they stay on your device. You are responsible for backups, for who you show a screen or printout to, and for deleting data you no longer need.

Intellectual property

The Dugout name, home-plate mark, field artwork, layout, copy, and software are owned by Dugout. You may not copy, scrape, resell, or rebrand the product as your own.
You keep all rights in your team names, player lists, and game notes. Dugout does not claim ownership of that content.
Third-party names (leagues, parks, other apps) are the property of their owners. Mention is for identification only.

Claims we do not make

Dugout is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball, Little League Baseball, GameChanger, or any other league, park, or scoring product.
Lineups, averages, strike percentages, and spray charts are coaching aids. They may be incomplete or wrong. Do not treat them as official statistics.
The app is provided “as is.” We do not warrant uninterrupted service, perfect storage, or fitness for a particular tournament or insurance requirement.

Limitation

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Dugout is not liable for lost games, lost data, printing errors, or decisions you make from the card. Some places do not allow these limits; in those places our liability is limited to the maximum the law permits. You agree to defend and hold Dugout harmless from claims that arise from names or notes you enter or sheets you distribute.

Acceptable use

Do not attempt to break, scrape, or overload the service. Do not enter sensitive medical or contact information. Do not use the tool for professional gambling.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after a posted change means you accept the new version. Material changes will be dated at the top of this page.
